My Photo of the Week: "Inanimate Animals"
Last week on a fishing trip in the Eastern Sierra, I was hiking over this hill to Crowley Lake and came across this elegant, crusted creature. It seems to be standing guard, waiting, watching... An animal captured in time and turned to stone? "Creature Rock," has a beautiful yet discordant mixture of textures and color. We often see animals in inanimate objects; clouds, rocks, and shadows for example. Maybe it's Nature's sense of humor.
